Services we provide: Oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment, exhaust repair, brakes, shocks, struts, transmission
fluid exchange, anti freeze flush and recycle, alternators, starters, belts, hoses, tire repair. Most anything
under the car.

Business History
James Gruetzmacher
• Bought first store in 1953, in Des Moines.
• Moved to Nevada in 1956, bought OK Tire.
• Along with retail store, owned and operated a 100 tire per day retread plant in Nevada, doing business in three states. 1962-1972.
• Served on the Board of Directors of the National Tire Dealer Assoc. 1973-1981.
• Co-founded the Iowa Tire Dealer Assoc. and was Charter President in 1976. An active lifetime board member of the Iowa Assoc.
• Opened Marshalltown store in 1981.
• Sold the Nevada store to employees in 1982.
• President of the Marshalltown Chamber of Commerce 1986/1987.
• Been active in the tire business for over 50 years. |
