Marshalltown CBD, a Main Street Community, is an independent organization operating
under the Bylaws of the Marshalltown Central Business District.
VOLUNTEER HOURS:
Please keep track of all of your volunteer hours as the Main Street program requires
monthly reporting of totals. Click here to download the form.
PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Volunteers contacted by media regarding the program are asked to notify the
Program Director prior to speaking on behalf of the Marshalltown CBD, a Main
Street Community.
SUPPLIES & EXPENDITURES:
Marshalltown CBD, a Main Street Community, has a large inventory of supplies.
Prior to purchasing any item, please first check with the office to see if they
have what you need. Any expenditure on behalf of Marshalltown CBD, a Main Street
Community, must be within the approved budget allocation for that event or program.
Marshalltown CBD, a Main Street Community, will be responsible only for expenses
incurred on its behalf that have been approved in advance by the committee chairperson,
Program Director or President. Whenever possible, goods and services are to
be purchased through Marshalltown CBD merchants. Be sure to obtain quotes from
at least two suppliers for any purchase over $200 and ask your Committee Chair
to approve the purchase.
Persons requiring reimbursement for expenses incurred must submit a Request
for Reimbursement form and receipt for item(s). Click here to download the form.
Contracts can only be entered into with the Main Street Board approval and
shall be signed by the Main Street Program Director and/or the President.
